What We Do - Classical Music Management
ArrivaDiva is one of the first artists’ managements that have chosen to work on a fee-based structure in stead of working on a commission basis.
Many artists can’t find a management working worldwide, either because they don’t bring in enough commission for the management, or they are paying huge amounts of commission to managements, for work they largely brought in themselves.
We, that are Mary and Tom, founded ArrivaDiva because we believe that:
- Every artist with the right calibre deserves an opportunity to work with an international management company.
- Having to pay out large commission is not fair on the artist; the work an artist manager does remains constant, whether for a 1000 euro contract, or a 50.000 euro contract.
In our management each artist or ensemble is managed to an equal formula. Everybody pays the same monthly management fee: 750 euros plus VAT.
We’d be interested to hear from you:
- If you are interested in working with us please send us an email, your bio and a demo CD or DVD to enable us to come to that all-important initial perception
- If we feel positive about your prospects as we see them, we will make an appointment with you for a meeting in London or occasionally in another city in which we may be conveniently holding meetings.
- During this discussion with you, we will want to evaluate your career thus far and establish as simply as we can what you would really like to do and how we can help you further. We’ll also explain how we work.
- If you are sufficiently interested we will draft you a work specification, and a contract. The work specification will spell out what we are going to do. We then agree any remaining adjustments and changes of substance, priorities or emphasis to the work specification. Then we begin working.
We and our small team will start finding as many gigs as possible for you but we can also give advice on sponsorship, forming advisory boards, creating your own festival, getting you into Carnegie Hall New York, the Musikverein in Vienna and the Amsterdam Concertgebouw: those four items being subject to a simple separate agreement.
What you need to know about the contract:
- Our work is non-exclusive, worldwide.
- We don’t work on a commission basis but charge monthly management fees.
- The length of our contract is month-to-month from the end of the third month.
- All clients need to sign our formal contract and the agreed attached agreed work specification.
- The monthly management fee is 750 euros plus VAT.
From the end of the first year if 25-50 engagements had been obtained, the second year’s fee will increase by 200 euros per month. If over 50 engagements had been obtained, the second year’s fees will increase by a further 200 euros per month.
